BRIGHTON - Carrie Grace MINEART, 84, died at 6;20 p.m. Wednesday at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield where she had been a patient for three and a half years.
Mrs. MINEART was born October 7, 1890 in Jefferson County, the daughter of John and Mary BUCK LAMANSKY. She was married to Henry W. MINEART Jan. 18, 1910.
The deceased lived her entire life in the Brighton area. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society and the Brighton unit of American Legion Auxiliary. Prior to her marriage she taught school in Jefferson County.
Surviving are eight sons,Sylvester of Fairfield, Leroy and Harold of Brighton, Curtis of Washington, David of Norwalk, Raymond of Falls Church, Fa.(sic), Maurice of Anandale, Va., and Maynard of Kenniwick, Wash.;
Three daughters, Mrs. Paul McCLINTIC of Richland, Mrs. George ANDERSON of Fairfield and Mrs. Roman GEVOCK of Pleasant Plain; 51 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and one sister, Ethel LAMANSKY of Los Angeles, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, four brothers and three sisters.
Prayers for a Christian Wake will be at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton at 9 p.m., Friday. Funeral services will be Saturday, 10 a.m., at St. Joseph's Church with the Rev. Louis Leonhardt officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
