Ethel NABBEFELD dies at 101

Ethel NABBEFELD, 101, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday at the Nelson Nursing Home where she had been a patient since March 20, 1969. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Raymond Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Riggs will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Ethel NABBEFELD was born Feb. 19, 1882, in West Liberty. She was the daughter of Michael and Ida K. FRANZ. Her marriage to Elmer ANDERSON took place Nov. 6, 1906. He died July 31, 1917.

She was married Sept. 27, 1921, to Gerhard NABBEFELD. He died Feb. 1, 1972.

Mrs. NABBEFELD is survived by a sister, Eva SALTS, Fairfield, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, four sisters and a brother.
