The following was noted in "Jefferson County Records" by Orville & Mary Prill, Vol. 6, Page 204a (back side of a Family Group Sheet) with other LONG obituaries. Its source was not cited.

Miss Thirza Letitia LONG, born 3 Apr 1879 in Jefferson County, died 13 Aug 1968 in Seattle, Washington; buried Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa.

Admin. note: She lived with her brother, Lora Alvin LONG, who was a bachelor. Lora died in 1959 and another brother, William Ross LONG, lived in Seattle, WA, where Letitia died. She is buried in Lot 3rd.127 with other family members.
