Maurine E. Miller, 93, of New London died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, in her home.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Elliott Chapel in New London, with the Rev. Matt Miller officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Mount Union.

Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the family present from 1 p.m. until the service.

A memorial has been established.

Mrs. Miller was born Dec. 18, 1909, in Packwood, the daughter of James F. and Jennie Edmund Larson. She married Clive Miller June 4, 1936, in New London. He died Sept. 22, 1986.

Mrs. Miller graduated from Mount Union High School and Parsons College. She was a homemaker and taught school for four years in Kingston and Leetown.

She was a member of LT Club and a 4-H leader for New London Lassies. She was baptised in the Methodist faith.

Survivors include two sons, Donald Miller and wife Inez of Burlington and Dennis Miller of New London; one daughter, Delores Stigge and husband Ronald of Burlington; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marjorie Carden of Winfield.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Dale Larson.
