R. SNYDER dies at 81

Robert D. SNYDER, 81, 1103 W. Briggs, died at 6 a.m. today at Jefferson County Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born Aug. 5, 1898 at Fairfield, the son of Harry and Lavenia STEVENSON SNYDER. He married Lucille MARRIOTT who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Dean of Fairfield, and Eugene of Pomona, Kan.; five grandchildren and one brother, Simon Snyder of Fairfield.

Arrangements are pending at Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham

Note: Lucille’s maiden name was MAIRET.
