Funeral Service for Well Known Resident to Be Friday
Charles S. NORVELL (sic. Charles Shearer NORVELL), 500 West Adams street, a life long resident of Jefferson county and old time horse buyer, died at his home at midnight last night. He had been in poor health for the past five years, having been somewhat worse the past week. He was only seriously ill for about an hour and a half last evening.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Joe who reside (sic.) in Fairfield, and Edmund of Toledo, Ohio. He also leave two grandchildren Charles Grover NORVELL, and Edmund Cassidy NORVELL; and two sisters Mrs. Kate SWITZER of Tulsa, Okla. and Mrs. Anna VAN NOSTRAND of York, Nebr. He was born August 5, 1867.
The funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:00 o'clock at the Hoskins Funeral home, and will be in charge of the Rev. S. P. Williamso (sic. Williamson). The burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery here.
