Arnold CURRAY rite Sunday

BATAVIA ---- The funeral service for Arnold W. CURRAY, 88, rural Batavia, who died Thursday, Jan, 12, 1989, at Jefferson County Hospital, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating.

Burial will be at the Batavia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7-8 p.m. Saturday at the chapel. Memorials may be made to the People's Church.

CURRAY was born Dec. 1, 1900, in Jefferson County north of Batavia, the son of Thomas and Lucinda BAIN CURRAY. He lived and farmed all of his life north of Batavia. On March 20, 1930, he married Laura M. MAIRET. She died in 1986.

Surviving are a sister Lucinda CONARD of Mount Pleasant, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
