Death Takes BLOSSER, 74

Albert Roy BLOSSER, 74, 204 S. Third St., died at 3 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital after a lengthy illness. He had been seriously ill for the past month.

Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Weida officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

BLOSSER was born Oct. 2, 1898 near Batavia, the son of Albert S. and Mertha (sic - Bertha) SHIRK BLOSSER. He had been a resident of Fairfield since 1910. He was married to Dorothy MILLER Aug. 20, 1933.

BLOSSER spent nearly 40 years in the U. S. Postal Service. He retired as Fairfield letter carrier Oct. 25, 1958.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church. A veteran of World War I, he was a 50-year member of the American Legion, serving as finance officer of that organization for many years.

He has no survivors.

IN THE DISTRICT COURT FOR THE STATE OF IOWA IN AND FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY

IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF ALBERT ROY BLOSSER, ALSO KNOWN AS A. ROY BLOSSER, DECEASED.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF ALBERT ROY BLOSSER, ALSO KNOWN AS A. ROY BLOSSER, DECEASED.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 6TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1973 THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ALBERT ROY BLOSSER DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 8TH OF FEBRUARY, 1958, AND CODICIL THERETO DATED THE 2ND DAY OF MAY, 1959 WERE ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT FRANK LEROY SIMPSON WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
