SMUTZ Rites Wednesday

Harry SMUTZ, 67, former resident of Stockport and Birmingham, died Friday morning in Eugene, Oregon, following an illness of several months.

Last rites will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Stumbo officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham.

Harry SMUTZ was born Sept. 29, 1905, in Van Buren County, the son of Ray and Jessie HELFENSTINE SMUTZ. He was reared and educated near Stockport and attended Iowa State College at Ames.

He moved to Oregon a number of years ago and had made his home there since.

SMUTZ was married to Twyla McNAMARA who preceded him in death in 1957. He was later married to Evelyn ACUFF in 1960.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Marlene CUMMINGS, Fontanelle; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Earl HAZEL, Oklahoma City; and a brother, B. R. SMUTZ, Lincoln Neb.
