Valerie Joyce COOK, 32, 208 E. Pierce Ave., died Sunday, May 5, 1996, from injuries received in a one-vehicle accident near Packwood.

The body has been cremated and there are no arrangements yet for a memorial service. Raymond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. COOK was born April 17, 1964, at Waterloo, the daughter of Richard and Betty SPEAKMAN EDWARDS. She had been a resident of Fairfield since 1985.

Survivors are her three daughters, Savannah BLACK and Stephanie BLACK, both of Cassville, Mo., and Elisha COOK of Fairfield; her father and stepmother, Richard and Millie EDWARDS of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Donna WOODS of St. Joseph, Minn.
