Albert Victor BURKE

Albert Victor BURKE, 73, of Indian Head, Md., died Thursday, Jan. 27, 1994, at his home.

BURKE was born May 11, 1920, in Fairfield (sic. in Jefferson county, Iowa), the son of Frank and Dorothy SHYMANSKY (sic. Dorothea A. SHEMANSKI) BURKE. He had worked for the United States government and was retired. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

His wife, Ann Louise BURKE (sic. maiden name not indicated; she was born in 1919 and died just four days before Albert died), preceded him in death. He is survived by a brother, Bernard, nieces and nephews.

The service was a noon today at Williams Funeral Home in Indian Head, with Father Newman officiating. Burial was in Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Cheltenham, Md. Memorials have been established to PHVFD and Hospice of Charles County (sic. Charles County, Maryland).
