Death of Mrs. Catherine Carl, born Gloversville, N.Y. Dec 17 1824; married Giles H. Carl July 5 1848, removing to this state about 1856. Husband died Jan 5 1883. Four children, three still living – Willard died in infancy; Seymour Carl and Almira Reniker of Van Buren County, and Chester Carl of Jefferson County. Family resided near Baker. Interment at the McDowell Cemetery.
