Obit. Irvin Brooks HUMPHREYS, son of Fielding Thomas and Louise HUMPHREYS, born in Jefferson County, Iowa, Nov. 25, 1864; died June 4 1924. Married Irene ULM Sept 15 1887. Four children: Mrs. P. I. FULTON, Earl U. HUMPHREYS, Mildred Louise and Mrs. George McMILLEN. He was the youngest child of a family of 11 children, six of whom have preceded him in death. Remaining brothers and sisters: Mrs. Saumuel (sic - Luella) EWING, Albion, Nebr.; Mrs. Cora MERCHANT, Sheldon, Mo.; Mrs. Sarah HARWOOD, Jefferson County, Iowa, and M. B. HUMPHREYS of this city.... Interment in Ottumwa Cemetery.
