Mrs. Fred Shearer, former Fairfield resident, died Thurs. at Olivia, Minn. Behner Funeral Home. Bur. Evergreen. Mrs. Ida Shearer was born Dec 13 1885 in Jefferson County, dau. Of George and Asenath Ross Baker; married Fred Shearer Oct 25 1905; he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Willard, Olivia, Minn., and Edwin, El Paso, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren (including a granddaughter, Mrs. Allen Ledeboer, who was reared in their home). Two brothers also survive: C. A. Baker and Frank Baker, both of Fairfield. She was preceded in death by a son.
