Sharon Jean THOMPSON

Sharon JEan THOMPSON, 66, of Deep River, died Sunday, March 25, 2012, at her son's home in Fairfield.

A memorial service was held Tuesday at First Baptist Church in What Cheer.

Cards and memorials may be sent to 700 N. Third St., Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. THOMPSON was born Sept. 12, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of James Leo and Jean Elizabeth GODDARD McGURK. She married Warren Dean THOMPSON in 1964.

Survivors include her husband; three sons: James THOMPSON and wife Sarah of Grinnell, Shawn THOMPSON and wife Stacey of What Cheer and Kelly THOMPSON and wife Amy of Fairfield; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Eirin MAYNARD of Shafter, Calif., and Rhoda LONG of Bakersfield, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
