VINTON Funeral Will Be Monday

Mrs. Ed W. VINTON, 92, 206 N. Fifty, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been admitted last Friday.

Funeral services wll be Monday at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wilson Hyde officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Raymond Funeral Home to the church at 9:30 a.m. the day of the funeral.

Rosa VINTON was born Nov. 13, 1878, in Missouri, the daughter of William and Elizabeth COOPER JACKSON. She was reared and educated in Missouri.

She was married to Stephen THOMA on May 22, 1898, in Fairfield. He died in March, 1908 (sic - March 8, 1909). Her marriage to Edward W. VINTON took place June 7, 1910, also in Fairfield. He died March 23, 1946.

Mrs. VINTON was a member of the United Methodist Church, 50-year member of Eastern Star and a charter member of the White Shrine.

She is survived by one daughter, Catherine VINTON, Fairfield. In addition to her husband (sic - husbands) she was preceded in death by one daughter and a brother.
