Mrs. CYRUS, 56, Dies Suddenly

LIBERTYVILLE -- Bertha MROGENSKI CYRUS, resident of Libertyville, died Tuesday about 8:15 p.m. of a heart attack at her home.

Last rites will be Friday at 9 a.m. at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield with the Rev. Francis Henricksen officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Prayers for a Christian Wake will be recited at the Raymond Funeral Home at 8 p.m. Thursday.

Bertha MROGENSKI CYRUS, 56, was born Sept. 26, 1909, in Center Township in Jefferson County, the daughter of Frank and Helen HOLTZ MROGENSKI. She was reared and educated in Jefferson County and graduated from Fairfield High School.

She was united in marriage to Barney CYRUS at Spring Valley, Ill. Mrs. CYRUS was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church, and served as a clerk in Fairfield retail stores for several years.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank MROGENSKI, Libertyville; and a brother, Albert, Fairfield. She was preceded in death by one brother, William.
