Called Home.

Sabbath evening in this city Mary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George HEATON, passed away. She was in the thirty-first year of her age, and her entire life had been spent here. Miss HEATON was a woman of beautiful character, gracious presence and blameless life. Through a long illness she waited uncomplainingly for the summons to go. Everything that love and skill could suggest was done for her, but the Great Father, in his all-wise providence, deemed it best and has gathered to himself one of his children. Her life was spent in loving and faithful service. Her legacy to those who mourn is a sweet and fragrant memory. No words can speak the comfort that this bring to them, no hand can lift the weight of sorrow that this removed. Her highest eulogy is her life and work, her best memorial her usefulness to those who knew her. Funeral services were held at the family residence yesterday afternoon by Rev. I. O. Kemble. All hearts go out in sympathy to the family, and especially to the brother, Lieut. HEATON, when the sad tidings shall reach him.
