KEOSAUQUA - Graveside services for Mrs. C. R. CONLEE (sic. Lida HOPE CONLEE), 91, a native of Birmingham, who died Sunday in the Eastern Star Home at Boone, where she had lived since 1960, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. The Rev. Millard Marshall of the Congregational Church of Keosauqua will officiate.
Funeral services were held today at 11 a.m., in the OES home at Boone.
Mrs. CONLEE was the daughter of William and Frances McDONALD HOPE born at Birmingham, Nov. 16, 1875. She was married in 1913 to Charles CONLEE (sic. his obituary said they were married January 18, 1911), who died in 1939. For 40 years, they lived in Denver, Colo., where for a time he served as assistant attorney general of the state of Colorado.
Only nieces and nephews survive: Mrs. Harold W. CATCOTT of Keosauqua is a niece, Fred WORKMAN and Jack CORRY of Fairfield are nephews.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
