Helen GORMAN

Helen GORMAN, 82, of Montrose, Colo., formerly of Batavia, died Monday morning, Feb. 27, 2012, at home.

Memorials may be made to Alpine Hospice at 924 Spring Creek, Montrose, CO 81401; or to Montrose United Methodist Church at 19 S. Park, Montrose, CO 81401.

Survivors include her husband, Loy GORMAN; one daughter, Deb AYERS of New London; one daughter-in-law, Linda SNOWDEN of Burlington; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patsy SCHMEISER of Winfield and Doris CHAVALIER of Mediapolis; one brother, Harry THOMPSON of Weaver; one stepdaughter, Beverly MILBY of Norman, Okla.; one stepson, Dennis GORMAN of Pahrump, Nev.

She was preceded in death by one son, Steve SNOWDEN; and her parents, Grover and Catherine THOMPSON.
