Warren B. GOHN

Warren B. GOHN, 83, of Fairfield, died Thursday evening, March 1, 2012, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

No service is scheduled.

Arrangements are in the care of Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mr. GOHN was born Jan. 2, 1929, in rural Lockridge, the son of William Fredrick and Nettee Hazel WILSON GOHN. He married Marily Jean ANGSTEAD Sept. 19, 1954, at First Christian Church in Fairfield. She died Jan. 12, 2010.

Mr. GOHN was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County. He graduated from Lockridge High School and Parsons College. He worked for Iowa State Radio for 26 years until 1983. He also drove an over-the-road semitrailer for several years.

He served in the United States Army Signal Corps.

Mr. GOHN was a member of First Baptist Church in Fairfield.

Survivors include one son, Jeffrey GOHN and wife Connie of Bloomfield.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Lawrence GOHN; and one sister, Shirley Bernice McNEELEY.
