Death Takes Mrs. BUCHANAN

Mrs. Edna BUCHANAN, 85, died about 10:40 a.m. today at Parkview Care Center.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Behner Funeral Home.

BUCHANAN Rites Set

Mrs. Edna W. BUCHANAN, 84, who made her home here for many years, died Friday at 10:50 a.m., at the Parkview Care Center. She had been ill several years.

The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Gerald R. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of Behner Funeral Home.

Mrs. BUCHANAN was born Sept. 24, 1892 in Middletown, Iowa, the daughter of John and Elizabeth CRAWFORD ZIGLAR [sic. actually Albert Maurice and Florence CRAWFORD ZIGLAR].

On June 2, 1934, she was married to George BUCHANAN. He died May 16, 1968.

She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Florence LEE of Burlington and also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

IN THE IOWA DISTRICT COURT JEFFERSON COUNTY, IOWA

IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF EDNA BUCHANAN, DECEASED.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF EDNA BUCHANAN, DECEASED:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 4TH DAY OF MARCH, 1977, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF EDNA BUCHANAN, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 14TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1968, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT CLARENCE HULL WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
