Andrew SINN, who resided in the northeast part of Walnut township, was buried Monday of this week. He was one of the oldest residents of Walnut township, over 60 years of age.

Andrew SINN, a resident of Walnut township since 1847, died at Washington, whither he had gone for treatment, the 18th inst. He was 67 years of age. His wife and six children survive.

Andrew SINN, an old and respected citizen of Walnut township, died at Washington last Saturday Sept. 18, aged 67-7-28. Born in Wurtenburg, Germany Jan. 20, 1830, came to the U. S. with his parents when seven years of age, locating in Pennsylvania near McConnellsburg; in 1847 they came to Iowa, locating in Jefferson County. In 1853 he was married to Sarah GUTCHER. Seven children, six still living and were all present at the funeral which took place from his home near Germanville Monday 10 a.m. Remains laid to rest at the Lutheran Cemetery; services conducted by Rev. D. Knieriem. Text, II Tim. 4:7-8. May he rest in peace.
