PASTOR DIES WHEN STROKE IS SUFFERED.
Rev. J. L. SEITZINGER of Germanville ill during services.

The Rev. J. L. SEITZINGER, pastor of the Germanville Lutheran Church in Jefferson County, died at his home today at noon following a stroke suffered Sunday morning shortly after he preached the morning worship services. The Rev. Mr. SEITZINGER was born on May 24, 1886 in Bavaria, Germany, son of Peter SEITZINGER and Lizia HOSTLER SEITZINGER, both natives of Germany. He was confirmed in the city of his birth as a Lutheran. In August of 1909 he came to the United States and was married to Miss Magdaline GOSCH in Minneapolis, Minn., on Aug. 11, 1911.

He served the following congregations: Belgrade and Raymond, Minn.; LaMont, Iowa; Pepin, Wis.; Everly, Iowa; and Tripp, S. Dak. He came to Germanville from Tripp in May 1932 and served in that church until the time of his death. Surviving are his wife, two children, Mrs. Kenneth BURGER of Everly and Lieut. B. K. SEITZINGER at San Antonio, Texas. Two brothers and two sisters survive in Germany, and four grandchildren also survive.
