Services for Helen E. SMITH, 702 W. Broadway, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First church of the Nazarene with the Robert Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Miller Chapel Cemetery south of Stockport.
Family visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Behner Funeral Home which is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. SMITH died at 1:30 a.m. Thursday at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health for a number of years.
Helen E. SMITH, 70, was born Feb. 23, 1911, in Wapello County, the daughter of Charles L. and Ada LEWIS BENGE. She was married to Loren L. SMITH Jan. 30, 1930, who survives.
She had lived in the Fairfield Community for over 50 years, and was a member of the Nazarene Church. Her late father operated the Benge Coal and Ice Co. in Fairfield.
Survivors include her husband three children: Kenneth SMITH, Crystal, Minn.; Florence HOATETTER, Fairfield; and Ruth CANADAY, Fairfield. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. SMITH was preceded in death by his parents and one son.
