John Junior 'Jack' ALLISON, 69, 10320 Lancaster Road, Liberty, Mo., former area resident, died Friday, Feb. 10, 1995, in Liberty.
The service was Monday at Church Archer Pasley Funeral Home in Liberty. A memorial has been established to the Liberty Hospital Cardiac Rehab Center.
ALLISON was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Fairfield, the son of John W. and Maggie Loeda POTTS ALLISON. On Sept. 5, 1945, he married Donna Jane "Janie" WATKINS at Libertyville. They moved from this area to Liberty in fall 1960. He retired in 1991 after 40 years with Yellow Freight of Kansas City, Mo. He had shown and judged Appaloosa horses throughout the United States.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Jon Wayne of Birmingham, Ala., Gary of Liberty; a daughter, Sue SCOBIE of Liberty; four grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret "Beth' COOKSEY of Fairfield, Willa Mae HARRISON of Libertyville; and a brother, Merl "Bill" of Libertyville. His parents and two brothers, Deyo and Keith L., preceded him in death.
