Lawrence R. PECK, 82, of Richland, died at 6:40 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, at Parkview Care Center.
The funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen C. Page officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The wake service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Raymond Funeral Home, followed by visitation until 8:30 p.m. Memorials have been established to the Polishville Association or to Mass stipends. The Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. PECK was born Feb. 3, 1917, at home, south of Pleasant Plain, the son of Peter Paul and Sophia DRISH PECK.
He lived in the Pleasant Plain community as a youth and the family moved to the Richland community in 1934. He was a farmer all of his life until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church parish at Polishville.
Survivors include one brother, Hubert PECK of Richland; and five nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Emilia MOSINSKI.
