SUCCUMBS AT LIBERTYVILLE

LIBERTYVILLE. Ia., Feb. 26-- Death came suddenly last night to Edward BONNETT, well known Libertyville resident. He passed away at 7 p.m. at his home.

Mr. BONNETT, 78, had been in failing health the past two years but his death was unexpected.

Last rites will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home in Fairfield. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Edward BONNETT was born May 26, 1870, in Jefferson county, the son of the late William L. and Matilda MADARA BONNETT. He lived his entire life in this county.

Mr. BONNETT was united in marriage on December 26, 1899, to Ora May HUDSON who survives. Mr. BONNETT followed the coal mining business for several years before his retirement.

Besides his wife, he is survived by the following children: John BONNETT, Fairfield; Mrs. George FRY, Menden, Missouri; Mrs. Ralph CARMICHAEL, Libertyville; Birdie, at home; Edward J. Jr., Stockport; Russell and Raymond, Libertyville.

He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Attie LANGDON, Fleming, Colorado.

His parents, four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one son, Glen, who was killed in 1935.
