Rites for Mrs. KOPSIEKER

Services for Catherine KOPSIEKER, 61, who died Thursday at 7 a.m. at Jefferson County Hospital, will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church. Mrs. KOPSEIKER had been a patient three weeks.

The Rev. William Sullivan will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Prayers for a Christian Wake will be recited tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Behner Funeral Home.

The daughter of John J. and Margaret A. DONAHUE STANTON, she was born May 3, 1919 in Portsmouth, N.H.

She married Charles H. KOPSIEKER June 7, 1941 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ottumwa.

Mrs. KOPSIEKER was an elementary school teacher for 22 years in the Fairfield Community School. Previously, she had taught 14 years in other Iowa schools. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and St. Mary Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband; one sister and two brothers, Margie SCHUTZ, Long Island, N.Y., William J. STANTON, Davenport and Michael R. STANTON, Drakesville.

Admin. note: Buried in Lot 4th.038 in Evergreen Cemetery. Husband Charles remarried to Meda PHILIPS BURKE, died in 1998, and is buried with Mary Catherine.
