WHEATLEY rites set

Neva Belle WHEATLEY, 89, former Fairfield school teacher, died at 7 p.m. Monday at the Nelson Nursing Home.

Last rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. George Koch officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Neva Bell WHEATLEY was born Feb. 10, 1891, in Henry County at Rome. She was the daughter of John and Sarah DUNCANSON ALLENDER.

Her marriage to Ralph WHEATLEY took place June 12, 1929. He preceded his wife in death March 3, 1976. Mrs. WHEATLEY lived in the Fairfield area most of her life and was a teacher in the Fairfield school system for a number of years. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers.
