Rites for GREEN

The service for Randall E. GREEN, 97, who died Friday morning at Parkview Care Center, will be Monday at 2 p.m., at the Behner Funeral Home. The Rev. R. Keith Lingwall will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. He had been in failing health for several years.

The son of Oran and Rebecca HAWK GREEN, he was born Oct. 2, 1883 in Jefferson County.

He married Emma MESSER Sept. 7, 1909. They had marked their 71st wedding anniversary.

He farmed and worked for the Dexter Company. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and had lived most of his life in Jefferson County.

Besides his wife, Emma, he is survived by one daughter, Ethel PALMER, Eugene, Ore., and one sister, Verda FLIGG, Des Moines.
