W. DIMMITT Dies At 72

Charles Warren "Hap" DIMMITT, 72, 1007 S. Seventh St., died Monday at 10:40 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. He had been a patient there for the past week.

Services are tentatively planned Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Ed Dorman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

DIMMITT was born in Fairfield April 5, 1904, the son of Frank L. and Nancy BOALES (sic - BOALS) DIMMITT. He was reared and educated in this community. He was married Feb. 26, 1925 to Rue SHRINER.

DIMMITT was a foreman at the Dexter Company for 39 years. He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Surviving are his widow and two sons, John Warren DIMMITT, Fayetteville, N.C., and James R. DIMMITT, Fairfield.

Also surviving are two grandchildren and the following brother and sisters: Robert DIMMITT, Portland, Ore.; Mrs. Tony IPSON, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Ralph LYNN, Mrs. Robert ADAMS and Mrs. Theodore GIRE, all of Fairfield.

Two brothers preceded him in death.

IN THE IOWA DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF IOWA IN AND FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY

IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF WARREN C. DIMMITT, DECEASED.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF WARREN C. DIMMITT, DECEASED:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 7TH DAY OF MAY, 1976, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF WARREN C. DIMMITT, DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 19TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1973, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT RUE E. DIMMITT WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
