Services For Olive YOUNT

Olive K. YOUNT, 84, former local resident and sister of Mrs. C. W. WADE of Fairfield, died Thursday at Ramsey Memorial Home in Des Moines.

Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Unity Church in Des Moines. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery here with the Rev. John R. Dilley officiating.

Mrs. YOUNT was born Nov. 31, 1891 (sic - November only has 30 days) in Fairfield, the daughter of Elliott B. and Laura G. KEARNS. A graduate of Iowa State Teachers College, she was a teacher at Lincoln School in Fairfield.

She was married Dec. 25, 1916 to George YOUNT, who preceded her in death Aug. 26, 1972. Surviving are three children: George YOUNT Jr., McLean, Va.; John YOUNT, Highland, Calif.; and Mrs. Marshall DAVIS, Des Moines.

Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. WADE of Fairfield and Mrs. Janet SPICKARD, Milwaukee, Wis.
