Ellen CARLSON rites Tuesday

Ellen A. CARLSON, 89, 502 N. Court, died at 1:45 p.m. Friday at the Nelson Nursing Home.

Last rites will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. John Wilken officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Born Nov. 29, 1892, in Mahaska County, she was the daughter of Andrew and Matilda ANDERSON CARLSON. She moved to California in 1936, retired in 1972 and moved back to Fairfield. She never married. She was a member of the Church of the Open Door in California.

Ellen CARLSON is survived by a sister, Mabel HUPP, Fairfield, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers.

THE IOWA DISTRICT COURT JEFFERSON COUNTY

IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF ELLEN A. CARLSON, DECEASED.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF ELLEN A. CARLSON, DECEASED:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 17TH DAY OF MAY, 1982, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ELLEN A. CARLSON, DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 10TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1979, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT GLENN HUPP AND RAYMOND HUPP WERE APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
