December 8, 1982Friday rites for Lee KELLEY
Lee B. KELLEY, 73, of Middletown, former area resident, died Tuesday evening at the Burlington Medical Center. He had suffered a heart attack Saturday.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lunning Chapel in Burlington with the Rev. Vern Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the chapel. The family will receive friends afterwards from 7:30 to 9 p.m. A memorial has been established.
KELLEY was born April 3, 1909 at Fairfield, the son of Dan and Ida RODIBAUGH KELLEY. He married Irene MILLER Jan. 18, 1931 in Fairfield. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Joan RYALS of Burlington, Joyce WILKE of Middletown; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a brother, Clifford of Fairfield.
Kelley was a construction operating engineer and a member of West Hill United Methodist Church in Burlington, Des Moines Lodge AF-AM 1, White Shrine, Burlington Chapter OES and operating engineers.
