Mrs. Harlan DOBRAS, 74, native of Jefferson County, died at 5:20 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been a patient at the hospital since Nov. 23.
Elsie DOBRAS was employed at the Gaumer Bros. drug store for 20 years and later at the Martin Pharmacy.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Keith Lingwall and Pastor Bob Barker officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Raymond Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church.
Elsie L. DOBRAS was born Sept. 1, 1908, in Jefferson County. She was the daughter of George and Lena STORTZ TAGLAUER. She was reared and educated in Jefferson County and moved to Fairfield in November, 1946. The family home is at 401 S. Sixth.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Bertha Rex Socity (sic), former organist and Sunday School teacher, and a member of the Jefferson County Hospital Auxiliary.
Her marriage to Harlan DOBRAS took place Feb. 25, 1936, at the Hope Lutheran Church near Germanville.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a brother, Edmund TAGLAUER, Germanville. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
