Page 8, Column 6Mrs. BAIRD, 83, Dies Suddenly
Mrs. William BAIRD, 83, died at 8:30 a.m. today en route to the Jefferson County hospital. Mrs. BAIRD became ill at her home at 508 W. Stone and an ambulance was called to take her to the hospital.
The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral home where last rites are pending.
Mrs. BAIRD had been a resident of Fairfield for more than 50 years. She was born in Germany Sept. 30, 1880, the daughter of Henry T. and Anna SCHRODER (sic - SCHROEDER) BRUDERS. She was married to William H. BAIRD Sept. 1, 1897. He preceded her in death Jan. 20, 1961.
Mrs. BAIRD was a member of the First Christian church. Surviving are one brother, Walter BRUDERS, Fairfield; and two sisters, Mrs. Raymond AIN, Ottumwa; and Mrs. Ben GAGER, Fairfield. Three brothers preceded her in death.

Last rites for Mrs. William H. BAIRD, 83, will be held Tuesday at 10 a. m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home.
Mrs. BAIRD, 508 W. Stone, died Saturday morning as she was being taken to the Jefferson County hospital by ambulance.
Services will be conducted my the Rev. Ned Gillum. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Jefferson County ss.To All Whom It May Concern:
You Are Hereby Notified, That an instrument of writing purported to be the last Will and Testament of Lena BAIRD, deceased, dated February 6, 1961 having been this day filed, opened and read, Friday the 17th day of July, 1964, is fixed for hearing proof of same at the Court House in Fairfield, Iowa, before the District Court of said County, or the Clerk of said Court; and at 9:30 o'clock a.m. of the day above mentioned all persons interested are hereby notified and required to appear, and show cause if any they have, why said instrument should not be probated and allowed as and for the last Will and Testament of said deceased.

July 6, 1964.
