DEATH CLAIMS EARL BRUDERS

Earl R. BRUDERS, 63, passed away yesterday at the veterans hospital in Des Moines where he had been a patient since Nov. 5. He had been in failing health since last February.

Last rites will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with the Rev. G. O. Collett in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Earl R. BRUDERS was born June 17, 1889, in Davis county, Iowa, the son of Henry and Johanna SCHROEDER BRUDERS. He was united in marriage on May 20, 1918, to May PARSONS, who survives. The wedding took place in St. Louis.

BRUDERS had been a resident of Fairfield for 50 years, and an employee at the Iowa Malleable Iron company for over 40 years. He was a veteran of World War I, and the family home is at 704 W. Kirkwood.

Besides his wife, he is survived by the following children: Harold, Sioux City; Clyde, Eglin Air Base, Florida; Earl, Jr., Fairfield; Mrs. Charles SAVAGE, Fairfield; Mrs. Richard FLEMING, Fairfield.

He is also survived by one brother, Walter, Fairfield; and the following sisters, Mrs. Richard BAIRD, Fairfield; Mrs. Raymond AIN, Ottumwa; and Mrs. Gen GAGER, Dowatiac, Mich.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Note: Buried in Lot SDiv.2-006. Earl was married twice, his first wife being Effie Clydene KOHNIE CORR, who died in 1914 and is buried in Old Fairfield City Cemetery. Second wife May died in 1976 and is buried with him.
