Eulalia CHAMP Dies Today

Eulalia CHAMP, 73, died at 10:35 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital. Her address is 702 W. Fillmore.

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home where last rites are pending.

Rites for Mrs. CHAMP

Last rites for Mrs. Eulalia CHAMP, 73, will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Free Methodist Church with the Rev. George Koch officiating.

Mrs. CHAMP, 702 W. Fillmore, died Monday at the Jefferson County Hospital after several years of failing health.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Weston Behner Funeral Home.

Mrs. CHAMP was born Oct. 18, 1901 at Bloomfield, the daughter of Horace and Hattie SNODDY CARLOW. She was married Feb. 24, 1918 to Fay CHAMP. He died July 9, 1949.

Mrs. CHAMP had been a resident of Fairfield for 61 years. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church.

Surviving are three sons and four daughters: Oren CHAMP, Burlington; John CHAMP, Waterloo; Robert CHAMP. Fairfield; Kathryn CHAMP, Charlotte CHAMP and Jean CHAMP, all of Fairfield; and Mrs. Robert KISLING, Keosauqua.

Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Hazel CARLOW (sic. Miss Hazel CARLOW; she was not married), Fairfield. Three sons and one sister are deceased.
