Funeral Saturday In Ottumwa For Former Fairfield Resident

Many friends here will regret to learn of the death of Mrs. John H. KETCHAM aged 60 years which occurred Wednesday night at 11 o'clock in St. Joseph's Hospital where she had been for some time.

Mrs. KETCHAM will be remembered here as Mae SPRAY (sic - Lillie Mae), daughter of the late Isaiah SPRAY and Mrs. Eunice SPRAY. She was born and reared in this city and graduated from the local high school with the class of 1901.

Mrs. KETCHAM is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Harold HIGH Jr., of Albany, New York, her mother Mrs. SPRAY of Ottumwa and one brother, A. T. SPRAY of this city.

She was prominent in the work of the Order of Eastern Star and was an active member of the Frest Methodist church. She was also affiliated with the following railroad Auxiliaries, B. of R.T.O.R.C. and Burlington Veterans and was a member of the Daughters of the Nile in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at three o'clock at the Lester Jay Funeral Home and will be conducted by Dr. Herbert A. Keck, pastor of the Methodist church. The funeral party will come to this city and the burial will be made in Evergreen cemetery. They expect to arrive at Evergreen cemetery about 4:15 p.m.
