MRS. TOM LEE DIES AT HOME

Mrs. Thomas P. LEE, 58, life-time resident of Fairfield, passed away at 6:15 a.m. this morning at her home, 610 W. Van Buren street. She suffered a stroke June 26, 1948 and had been seriously ill since last Monday.

The body is at the Hoskins funeral home where last rites are pending.

Mrytle LEE was born May 2, 1890, at Fairfield, the daughter of the late Jasper P. and Alice WHITAKER LATHROP. She was united in marriage October 28, 1905, to Thomas P. LEE who survives.

Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Charles, Mrs. Edith McMURRAY and Mrs. Alice HENDRICKS, all of East Moline, Illinois; Robert, Mrs. Clara CALHOUN and Mrs. Joyce MESSER, all of Fairfield; and Lloyd, Junction City, Kansas.

She also leaves 15 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. George MANLEY, Fairfield; and three brothers, Art L. LATHROP, Kansas City; Ed LATHROP, Fairfield; and Fred LATHROP, Glasgow.

Seven children preceded their mother in death.
