Miss VANNESS rites Monday

OLLIE-- Louie Melvina VANNESS, 96, Ollie, died Friday at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Ollie Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Burk officiating. Burial will be in Pennington Cemetery near Sigourney. The Fremont Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Miss VANNESS was born March 9, 1884 near Ollie, the daughter of Madison Taylor and Sarah MITTS VANNESS. She is survived by a half sister, Verna WALKER, Fairfield. She was a member of the Ollie Baptist Church.
