Ryan James MATHIAS

Ryan James MATHIAS, 22, of Fairfield, died Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at home.

A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fairfield Friends Church, with the Rev. John Wilbur officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham.

No visitation is planned.

Memorials to Inside Out Christian Counseling may be left at the church or may be mailed to the family at 18237 127th St., Birmingham 52535.

Arrangements are in the care of Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Mr. MATHIAS was born Nov. 1, 1989, in Des Moines, the son of James and Donnalee MATHIAS.

Mr. MATHIAS was home-schooled through high school. He attended Grace University in Omaha, Neb., and had been employed at Cambridge Investment Research Inc.

Mr. MATHIAS attended Fairfield Friends Church.

He played several instruments and especially enjoyed Irish music.

Survivors include his parents of rural Birmingham; one brother, Tyler MATHIAS of rural Birmingham; and his grandparents Harold and June MATHIAS of rural Birmingham and Walter and Betty SHUKA of Marion.
