Martha Etta VOGT

Martha Etta VOGT, 76, Route 4, died at 3:42 a.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 22, 1994, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Fund.

Mrs. VOGT was born May 1, 1918, in East St. Louis, Ill., the daughter of George and Inez FOWLER LANKFORD. On Oct. 12, 1940, she married Raymond VOGT in Kahoka, Mo. A resident of Fairfield most of her life, she was a homemaker and had been a cook at the Family Cafe.

Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Donna STEVENS, Iona GREINER, Roaenna POOL, Juleanna GIBSON, all of Fairfield; three sons, Richard, James, both of Fairfield, Robert of Richland; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harry LANKFORD of Fort Dodge, Glenn LANKFORD of Sac City; two sisters, Ruby MEHRING of Fort Dodge and Loretta SCOTT of Pocahontas. Her parents, four brothers, Leo, Sylvester, George, Robert, and a sister, Ada, preceded her in death.
