Chester VOGT rites Friday

Chester M. VOGT, 72, Route 2, died suddenly at 2:43 p.m. Wednesday at Jefferson County Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Donations may be made to memorial of donor's choice.

VOGT was born Sept. 6, 1914, in Fairfield, the son of Fred and Martha EDLER VOGT. He had lived all his life in Fairfield, where he had been a self-employed trucker for 58 years.

Surviving are two brothers, Raymond and Arthur, both of Fairfield, and two sisters, Lucile HENDERSON of Exline and Florence FLEMING of Baxter, Tenn. His parents and one sister preceded him in death.
