Helen M. HAVNER

Helen M. HAVNER, 98, of Keosauqua, died at 11:05 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua.

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials to Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 24040 Jasmine Road, Keosauqua 52565.

Mrs. HAVNER was born April 22, 1913, in Fairfield, the daughter of Roy and Gertrude ADAMS VOYLES. She married Emery HAVNER. He died in 1957.

The HAVNERs lived near Birmingham and in Perry; Rock Island, Ill.; and California. Mrs. HAVNER was employed as a retail saleswoman in Perry, Rock Island and California. She moved to Keosauqua in 1984.

Survivors include one daughter, Barbara LOVE of Keosauqua; one son, Richard HAVNER and Claude in California; three grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ruth EDWARDS and Virginia KINSER; one brother, Robert VOYLES; and one son-in-law, Carl LOVE.
