Leo Ray BARBER

Leo Ray BARBER, 52, 103 1/2 S. Sixth St., died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003 in his home.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Jim Wotherspoon officiating.

Family visitation will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. today at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Mr. BARBER was born Dec. 28, 1950, in Fairfield, the son of Robert L. II and Doris R. BROCK BARBER.

Mr. BARBER lived his whole life in the Fairfield community. He was a laborer at Loudens, Crane Company in Washington, Iowa, American Chain and Cable Company and a self-employed truck driver.

Survivors include one daughter, Lea BECHTEL and husband Glenn Jr. of Fairfield; two grandchildren; three sisters, Judith WESTFALL of Clarksburg, W.V., Debby BARBER of Denver, Colo., and Terry J. PASCH of Stockport; and three brothers, Randy BARBER of West Chicago, Ill, Gary Lee BARBER of Fairfield and John D. BARBER of Marion.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Robert L. BARBER III.
