Mrs. POWELSON Taken In Death

Mrs. Bertha L. POWELSON, 89, 605 S. Fourth St., died at 5:30 at the Fairfield Convalescent Home. She had been in failing health for several years.

Last rites will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Weston Behner Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Ned C. Gillium. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery.

Mrs. POWELSON was born Dec. 14, 1879 at Abingdon, the daughter of James R. and Mary S. BLACK PETERS. She married March 5, 1905 to Abe C. POWELSON. He preceded his wife in death June 18, 1927.

Mrs. POWELSON is survived by one brother, F. Ben PETERS, with whom she made her home. Six brothers and two sisters are deceased.

She was a member of the First Christian Church.
