WILSON Funeral At Packwood

PACKWOOD --- Mrs. Vera May WILSON, 83, native of Jefferson County, died at 2:20 a.m. today at the Keokuk County Hospital in Sigourney.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Christian Church in Packwood with the Rev. Byron Newland and the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery.

The casket will be taken from the Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia to the church at 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Vera May WILSON was born Aug. 20, 1889, in Jefferson County, the daughter of David and Christanna SMITH CALDWELL. She married Rex WILSON March 13, 1907, who died in 1965.

Mrs. WILSON was a member of the Packwood Christian Church and the CWF.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Clyde MYERS, Packwood; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
