Ed WILSON had lived in Jefferson county all his life

Ed WILSON, 55, life-long resident of the Abingdon community, passed away at the Sunnyslope Sanatorium in Ottumwa, Wednesday at 6 p.m.

He had been in poor health for the past one and a half years and seriously ill during the past week.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the Christian church at Abingdon. Burial will be in Abingdon cemetery.

Mr. WILSON was born in Jefferson county. He is survived by his father, Charles WILSON, who lives in Abingdon, one daughter, Mrs. Marie WHITTINGTON, Fairfield, and one brother Rex, who also lives in Abingdon.

The body was taken to Campbell funeral home in Batavia.
